Here are my favorite places to relax, feel at home, and nosh away at Jewish or Jewish Style Food...
Pumpernicks
Pumpernicks is a deli and restaurant where I feel like I am in my living room. The staff are very friendly and treat you like family no matter if you are a regular or a first-timer. My favorite food items to get are matzah bowl soup, chicken noodle soup, pastrami sandwich, and latkes. I could eat here at least once a week, and every time my troubles are washed, or should I say, eaten away.

Honey's Sit and Eat
Voted "best brunch in the city", Honey's is the place to go in Philadelphia! They have unique eats, such as the vegetarian ruben above, challah french toast, fish tacos, and more. Their menu can be summed up, in my opinion, as Southern Jewish style comfort food. I love Honey's, and the original location is in Northern Liberties, where people of all kinds meet for good home comfort food. Let me tell you, the wait to get in is worth it.
Zahav
Zahav is for the Israeli food lovers. This place is expensive, but it takes you away on a trip to Israel. Chef Michael Solomonov, who was born in Israel brought his native flavors of his birth pace to Philadelphia. The hummus is out of this world, and their fried cauliflower is addictingly good! Located in old city, Zahav is in a beautiful location. Zahav also means gold, which represents the city of Jerusalem. The restaurant architecture and design also mimics the city walls of Jerusalem. If you have never been to Israel, and you want to, go to Zahav and enjoy a unique cultural experience.
