No, the above are not my photos but I am not equipped with the best lighting and camera to take said photos yet. Anyhoo, I love to eat but to stay at a reasonable weight I try to eat healthy. To me, healthy is eating a balanced diet and portion control and of course, confidence and having a healthy mind set. I try to eat whole grains, vegetables, fruit, lean protein and low-fat dairy everyday. A typical work day menu would be fresh fruit smoothie in the morning, chicken-sausage, hummus, whole-grain chips, and a cheddar cheese stick for lunch, and dinner would include vegetables, a lean protein and a whole-grain pasta. I love to eat with color and variety and different textures make eating interesting. You can make a head of lettuce a whole lot of fun to eat by adding home-made whole grain croutons, feta cheese, avocado and a cut-up turkey burger.
