Visage (Face) Based on Combination Skin

“There are no ugly women, only lazy ones”
― Helena Rubinstein

Helena Ruinstein cannot say it any simpler, however beauty most definitely comes from within as well. Your face is a canvas, cliche as it is, your face needs to be treated with kindness and handled with care.  Or just put a FRAGILE sticker on your face. Pictured below are my favorite face moisturizers (at the moment).  Besides cleansing, moisturizing is extremely important for your skin.  It prevents aging, corrects redness and discoloration, and provides moisture (obvs) among many things. The down bar next to each product is a direct link to where to research and purchase for your own face. Starting from the left:
Pacifica Dreamy Youth Day and Night_ face cream is a natural moisturizer (which is a plus..GO NATURAL!).  It says to use morning and night but I use it in the morning for no real reason.  I like the smooth consistency and it does not make my face feel oily. I purchased this item because it came in a kit which was on sale and I have some Pacifica products that I enjoy (lips and perfume).  Pacifica as a whole is very affordable too!
Burt's Bees Intense Hydration day lotion_ came in my December Birchbox.  I love love love the smell!  It says that it is clary sage.  It smells like a spa in a tin!  Very refreshing on the skin, especially after an exfoliating skin care.  Very moisturizing and you only need to use a very little bit to get the job done.  I highly recommend this one!
The Acure Day Cream_ is very light and smells of orange, which I love for skin care. It is for normal to dry skin and the three main goals are: firming, hydrating and restoring.  I can definitely feel the firming effects of the moisturizer.  I like that too!  I like knowing that a product does what it says. I really like this product, which I purchased from Whole Foods, because it is all natural and provides lots of benefits to your canvas.
Last, but not least is my current night cream.  Origins never does me wrong! Mega Mushroom Skin Relief_ leaves my skin feeling baby butt soft every night before I go to bed.  I have a sample size.  The full size is quite costly at $62.00 but there is no price on treating your skin properly.  This face cream reduces redness and sensitivity and I have both.  I enjoy everything about this one!

"I live to eat and I live to moisturize"- Me :)

Ahhh there is nothing better than having smooth hands.  For a busy lady like me, who uses her hands constantly (and washes), it is very important to keep my hands healthy and taken care of.  Especially in the cold winter months, promise me you will dress your hands and body in a blanket of protection.  Pictured below are my favorite body moisturizers (at the moment)that I indulge in morning and night. I now take the time to say "Thank you" for keeping my hands and body soft protected. Ahava Mineral Body Lotion_ is more than a lotion/moisturizer to me, it is also nostalgic.  I went to Israel on Birthright_ and swam in the sea that this came from.(plug: a free 10 day trip to Isreal..click the link for info)  Ahava has minerals from the dead sea, which is a natural spa for your body, as well as aloe vera and witch hazel to provide your skin with moisture and refresh.  The smell is faint and fresh and my skin always feels sooo smooth and ready for the day or bed.  I bought this in the Ahava factory in Israel.  Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion_ is incredibly moisturizing. This is aimed for dry skin and its main ingredient is shea butter.  With Clarins, there are instructions for use and application (this goes for all Clarins prducts) and I am supposed to apply with light stroking moments.  I am very happy with this product and I purchased this in a skin care kit at the Clarins counter in Macys.  The Bee Kind Body Lotion_ smells like it says (of honey and Chamomille).  This is also a Birchbox find.  I love the smell of honey and the lotion is very wet so you only need a small pea size for the hands. A portion of the proceeds supports and benefits honey bees and sustainable pollination research. So, its good for the body and environment.  The L'occitane hand cream_ has great packaging! I love this little tube (so easy for on the go!).  Although it stays on my night-stand, it is a handy portable size.  It is very rich and creamy and gets the job done.  This product began in Provence, France from a gardner in 1976 and is pleasing hands all over the world and going strong.  I purchased this lotion in a kit with a foot cream and two bar soaps.  The Body Shop Coconut Body Milk_ is a spray body lotion which is watery not creamy.  I enjoy the coconut smell and the refreshing feel of the "wet" coconut oil.  It is very gentle on the skin, and it helps to restore the body's natural moisture.  Last but not least, my Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Cream came in the same kit that I purchased the Pacifica face moisturizer.  I love the sweet vanilla(ee) and coconut(ee) smell!  The texture is not too creamy but creamy enough.  It is not as moisturizing as the other products but is fresh and gentle on the skin.

Welp, there ya have it!  My moisturizing products in a nut shell!  I left one product out, because it did not fit in the picture.  It is another dead sea lotion, which I love called Deja Vu.  Very hydrating and fresh and it lasts for hours, almost all day!  What products do you use and recommend?  I hope I inspire you to protect your canvas and begin to bring out your outer beauty. xoxo

My lips tend to get really dry and I get cold sores. I started putting virgin coconut oil on my lips and the cold sores went away before they even surfaced. I found it worked better then abreva.
I use jason anti aging cream in the morning after I shower and my face stays soft all day. I love their products because they are organic.
I also like to use aruyvedic sesame oil that I also use after I shower.
Thanks for all the info! Very helpful

Thank you as well. I will be trying your products in the future! I am into organic and natural too because we need to treat our skin right just as we need to exercise and eat healthy. Thanks lisa!
