where.my.makeup.lives.

My makeup lives in various places.  From my purse, to my work-bag, to my dresser, it has various homes.  On my dresser, I have organized and divided my makeup into several containers according to tools and parts of the face.  My purse, well that's a different story...

The picture to the left is a white wooden abode. At the top, I have my lipsticks and mascaras. The top drawer holds primers, highlighters and blushes/bronzers. The bottom drawer contains individual eyeshadows.  Currently, my eye-shadow pallets lay on my dresser. I bought this gem from Amazon.

My makeup brushes spend their days and nights (when not in use) inside an Ikea candle holder.  I love the gentle lace look of the candle holder and I knew it would be perfect for my brushes.  It is a great height too and there is room for more brushes to come inside. (I smell shopping!!)

My eye-liners sleep inside a cool gray and white chevron tin.  I am into chevron these days and I needed something tall and wide to fit my family of eye-liners.  I bought this tin from the dollar spot of my local Target.  I do love a good bargain! :)

The rest of my lip products (mainly balms and glosses) live in this chic little bowl I got from the kitchen aisle of Home Goods. I adore polka dots and using items for a new purpose, such as this ice-cream or cereal bowl as a home for lip products.

My hair accessories live in a pink chevron container.  Since, my room is pink, white and black, all of my room accents match the color scheme.I like how all of my clips and bows fit snuggly inside a fun girly box. I got this from Target also at the dollar spot, which is in the front of the store.  I can't help but smile when I reach for a hair clip!
