I love to travel. Any chance to hop in a car, on a plane, a boat, a blimp, I am there!  I also like to keep my skin clean and fresh wherever I go.  I bring with me my skincare routine and makeup but a much more compact version.
Picture
Some of my cosmetic bags. I use a much bigger Vera Bradley cosmetic bag on big trips to hold my hair brushes and jewelry too. Comment below if you want to know where the bags are from!
Picture
These are my travel Ecotools brushes from Physicians Formula that I bring on any trip.
Picture
Above: Cleansers, wipes and exfoliaters. These are perfect for morning and night but I only exfoliate once a week. I would only bring wipes and one cleanser with me on a trip. If it is a week or longer, I would also bring an exfoliater with me. The Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish is my current favorite (mini). You use it with a hot cloth or a hot muslin cloth and apply the cream on dry skin!
Picture
Above: Moisturizers, primer and concealer. I am soooo in love with the Body Shop's Shea Butter Body Butter and this little package is perfect and slim for any bag. The primer potion by Urban decay is awesome for keeping that beautiful eyeshadow on for the whole day. The concealer/brighter on the far right is from Clarins. I use the full size religiously and If i did not have the sample size I would bring the full size. I also will bring a night cream, like the Clarins Multi-Active Night and a day cream such as the Lait-Creme Concentre. I found these amazing Body Shop masks in these very slim packages so why not have a pamper night to double the fun of being away!
Picture
Above: Hair Care. My current hair is colored so I will be bringing the Fekkai Technician Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner.
Picture
Above: Some mini makeup items. Here is an example of some mini makeup staples. I included (top left to bottom right) a Benefit highlighter, The Body Shop eyeshadow quad, Benefit They're Real mascara, Josie Maran hair oil, dry shampoo, deodorant, Anastasia brow powder, Clinique Blush and Clarins lip perfector. This is an example of some small/mini makeup items that I will bring or have used on trips. I also bring along my current foundation (Lancome) or a high-coverage BB cream such as the Pacifica one I am loving.
If you like to travel like myself, what are some essential minis you like to bring along? xoxox

I am on the right. My sister is on the left. :)
This post is in honor of my hair.  It is thin, oily if I skip one washing and recently colored.  I excitedly went for the celebrity ombre look and I could not be happier.  I am going to show you what products I use in the shower and before and after blow drying.  It is very important to protect your hair to prevent drying, damage and fading of color.  Now is the time to put on a hair treatment so you can read this blog post while protecting your hair.

Salma Hayek- Creator of Nuance Hair Products "My line is inspired by my grandmother, who dedicatd her life to keepng women beautiful. My products are designed to help every woman enhance the nuances that define her individual beauty, and make my grandmother proud"- Salma Hayek

In the shower I swap back and forth between Salma Hayek's shampoo and Conditioner for color treated hair (Nuance) and Sojourn Shampoo.  The Salma Hayek Shampoo and Conditioner is awesome.  She has a great hair care line and this pair in particular helps protect color treated hair with: Wheat protein, Cornflower extract and Acai moisture complex (Shampoo).  The Conditioner has Wheat Protein, Shea Butter and Active Biometric Nutrient complex.  They are supposed to add nutrients and moisture to your hair and have you seen Salma Hayek's hair?! You can find her hair products at drug stores such as CVS, and they are very affordable. The second product I use every other day is called Sojourn- Shampoo Color Preserve.  It has zero chemicals and is biodegradable.  This shampoo protects my hair from color fading and against UV damage. It is also a leave in shampoo living my hair feel silky smooth and soft when finished.

Once a week I use a conditioning treatment.  The one I have been loving lately is Marc Anthony's True Professional Repairing Macadamia Oil.  It is Sulfate free and consists of Macadamia Nut Oil, and Bamboo.  This treatment strengthens, rejuvenates, and reconstructs dry, damaged and stressed hair.  It also protects color and split ends.  I leave it on my hair after I shampoo for 3 to 7 minuets while I shave and wash my body.  I recommend conditioning treatments if you apply heat to your hair and/or use products in your hair because it cleans your hair of those products and gives you a fresh clean slate.

To the left are the products that I use before or after blow drying.  Starting from the left is another Salma Hayek hair product called  Wheat Protein Volumizing Foam with Color-Lock Technology.  It is said to thicken and shine fine to medium hair.  I like to spray and pat some of this onto my roots then comb my hair (when wet/damp).  It has a soft and fresh smell and I like the volume it gives my hair.  The next product over is my Loreal Paris Boost It High Lift Creation Spray.  This hair spray gives extremely huge volume but unfortunately has a typical hairspray smell and sticky finnish.  I use this on blow-dried hair and I am impressed with the full volume.  The next one over is my Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.  First of all, I love the name!  Second of all, I can pretend I live on the beaches of LA all year long. I use this on dried hair for a messy texturizing look.  I like the smell and it does not have a sticky crunchy finnish which is a plus.  I always think of the beach and instantly get into a better mood with this in my hair.  Last but not least of my finishing sprays is my Not Your Mother's She's A tease Volumizing HairSpray.  This spray smells as good as the Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray and does not leave any sticky "hairspray" residue.  It is known to be a dupe to the Oribe sprays for is volumizing finish.  The Oribe spray is quite expensive, so I'll take it!

These are my beloved heat protector Sprays!  Using a Blow Dryer and any heat tools such as a straightener or curling iron can easily damage your hair giving you split ends,  damage and lack luster.   I use these products alternating between them before I blow-dry. Starting from the right this time is my It's a 10 miracle leave in plus Keratin spray.  This spray does what the name states, ten benefits.  I will list five: 1.  Replaces lost protein  2.  Strengthens hair structure  3. Seals cuticles for extra silky hair  4.  Detangles, defrizzes and adds shine  5. Protects against heat.  In all, this spray is very moisturizing with a lotion-like consistency.  I recommend this product.   The next product over is my 12 Benefits Spray.  It says to use this before blow-drying or swimming.  This spray is great for color protection, UV damage, heat,  and chlorine.  It is a great spray to use even if you do not apply heat to your hair.  I love this product.  This is a Birchbox find and I like the effects it gives my hair.  Last but not least, on the left is my go-to Tresemme Platinum Strength Heat Protect Spray.  I used this everyday for months before I found the other two sprays.  This is a professional, saloon quality heat protectant spray.  I like it because it does the job!

Picture
These are my holy grails.  These oils are my smoothing, beautifying baindaids to split ends, frizz and dry looking hair.  After the heat/color protected spray, volumizing sprays and blow drying, I apply one of the items on the left to add shine and a silky smooth consistency to my hair.  They all do a miraculous job!  Starting from the left, my Fekkai Color Glaze not only seals in moisture and smooths split ends, it has a watery consistency and locks in color.  My Garnier Fructis Marvelous Oil is indeed Marvelous.  It smells orgasmic and fruity, has a nice oily feel, and can be added to my conditioner, can be used as a leave-in treatment for my hair and can be used pre-shampoo.  I use it for my ends but will soon try the other uses.  Next one over is the first oil that I used and fell in love with.  It is a sample size of the Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum with Radiance.  When you pour a pea sized amount in your palms and rub them together, the sparkle from the oil excites your senses and it is very gently and nourishing for the ends of your hair.  Lastly on the right is my Beauty Protect and Oil.  I fell in love with this brand of shampoo and conditioner and was so excited to find that they have an oil too.  I found this once again, from BirchBox and I love the strength and protection this oil provides my locks.  There ya have it!  My hair goddesses, my Band-Aids and tricks of the trades.  I will love to hear what you recommend and use on your hair on a daily basis.  Until then, protect your beautiful hair. xoxox

A good foundation, mascara and lips make a face come alive and awake!  This post is dedicated to my lips or what I put on them, I should say.  From "designer" to drugstore I will tell you pros and cons of my lip collection.  Also, make sure you take care of your lips.  The skin on your lips is very sensitive and vulnerable.  They need to be moisturized and protected from the sun.  In the summer, I always put an SPF lip balm on my lips as my base, however the sun is out all year so be nice to your lips annually.  A lot of lip products actually have some SPF in them which is a treat!  Enjoy my collection and at the bottom, please ask any questions and give any suggestions regarding lip care and product! Toodaloo! xox

Pictured to the left is my collection of high-end lip products.  Starting from the left is the Clarins Lip Plumper.  It is a soft nude-brown lip gloss that is not sticky.  It comes out nice and smooth and is perfect for a nude lip.  Next is a coral-orangey pink Clinique lip stick that is shimmery.  It glides on smooth and feels moisturizing.  It is nice for spring and just adds that little touch of color to add softness to your face.  Bobbi Brown comes next!  This color is orange and it is my first highly pigmented orange lipstick I ever bought.  This color has to be worn carefully.  It is matte and long lasting and needs to be worn with a brown, nude or smoky eye, something neutral.  It reminds me of the 60's and 70's!  Next is one of my favorite pink lipsticks I own.  It is by Lancome and it is extremely pigmented.  Just one swipe for the swatch and the color is perfect.  I love the poppy bright spring/summer color.  It is eye-catching and happy!  My last high-end product which was a free lipstick for Valentines Day is another Clinique lipstick.  I am not a huge fan of the color but if I am need of a red color it will do.  It has too much sheen for my liking but it has a lot of moisture.

Picture
These are my Baby Lips!  I love these tinted lip balms.  I highly recommend these for almost anyone.  They are so moisturizing and smooth/soft.  The middle pink one is extremely pigmented giving a soft baby pink look to the lips.  The one on the right has a sheer orange tint and the one on the left has sheer dark red tint.  I really enjoy the moisture and colors of these tinted lip balms.

Again, sadly all of my photos did not upload so I will finish this post when they do.  Sorry for the inconvenience but I am glad I showed you an example of my high-end faves and my low end faves.  What is your favorite lip product?  Have a great night! xoxo
